Hi, I'm Elizabeth Schmude, and thank you for taking the time to visit my website! I've been taking photos since I can remember, wasting a lot of film back in the day, taking pictures of anything and everything! After using my high schools "fancy camera" to take yearbook photos, I decided I needed to get one of my own after everyone kept telling me how good I was (thanks guys!). Two years and hundreds of thousands of pictures later, in 2013, I decided that's what I wanted to do with my life and now here I am! I am a graduate of Point Park University, where I studied all aspects of photography and earned my B.F.A. in 2018.

I currently reside in Cranberry, PA where I find myself keeping very busy. Aside from taking photos for my own business and Identity Cranberry, I work for a small, locally owed construction company in Oil City, keeping things in line in the office. I also volunteer a lot of time to the Venango County 4-H program or you can find me at home, cuddling my cats or hanging with my friends and family. When I'm not doing those things, I'm probably at a concert, watching hockey, buying more plants, eating ice cream or hitting up local event! See, I told you I keep busy!

I consider myself to be a well rounded photographer, primarily concentrating on creating portraits that resonate with the individual personality and style of each person I photograph. By incorporating natural moments and unique elements of each location, I capture more than the person in front of the camera but also the story and feelings of that day. Within my portfolio lay hidden understandings of form, culture and contemporary trends. I capture details as well as graphically relating the subjects to the environment.

I shoot senior portraits, family, children, couples, maternity, engagement, events, reunions, plays, sports and much more!
