Children

Growing up with younger siblings and cousins, I know how meaningful portraits of the kids can be to family, after all these are the people that mean so much to you! The images will mean a lot now but will mean a lot more to you later on in life.

I also know from having younger siblings that as hard as you try, things don't always go as planned. My style of shooting tends to be very relaxed and fun. I want the kids to play, interact and be goofy! It's those moments I love to capture, those smiles and expressions are the perfect moments.

During these types of sessions, I don't want anyone to feel as though they need to watch the clock, you don'y have anything to worry about. Bring some toys, maybe some snacks and I promise we will have so much fun!

I can provide location suggestions, but if you feel as though the backyard or even the living room is the most comfortable place, then I would be more than happy to come to you! I typically suggest that sessions are held in the morning or evening, but I am aware that there are nap times and bed times and that it just doesn't always work. I will most definitely work with you to choose a time that works best for us both!

Newborns

There is nothing like those first few weeks when your baby is so tiny, perfect and you are head over heels in love! My style is very natural, with very limited posing and props. I want newborns to look like newborns. I want to document their little fingers and toes and even stick mom and dad in those photos as well.

I may bring a few blankets or wraps but I try to use the blankets and wraps you already have, maybe something that means something to you! The majority of the session will consist of relaxing shots around the home. Locations I may possibly use, with your agreement would be the baby's room, parents room, family/living room, etc. I'll take individual photos of the baby in various locations as well as family shots and shots of natural interactions such as cuddling and rocking.

If you're wondering when your newborn session should be held, it is best to take the photos within the first 10 days, so as soon as you know your due date I can get you on my calendar and we can adjust as necessary!

things to know:

A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to hold your session date. Your session date will not be confirmed until paid. This must be paid within 15 days of booking your session. The remaining amount must be paid before or at the time of your session.

All sessions will have a 6.0% PA sales tax added to it when receiving your invoice.

All galleries will be delivered via email 2-3 weeks after your session. Galleries needed sooner than 2-3 weeks will have a $50 rush fee added. This must be discussed at the time of booking.

The gallery you will receive is password protected but is shareable, downloadable, and the print release is included. The gallery also includes a store to purchase prints. If you'd like to arrange to view them together in person, we can do that!
